Carole Rae Watanabe is an artist and educator known for her diverse works, from tapestries and handmade paper sculptures to vibrant paintings, while also fostering artistic communities and establishing creative spaces like her gallery in Collioure and art school in France, all influenced by global traditions in fiber arts and weaving.
Erika Carter
Erika Carter is a Santa Barbara-based artist whose work is inspired by her Mexican heritage, family history, and vibrant childhood experiences. Her paintings blend imagination and cultural influences, drawing from the colors, textures, and memories of her grandparents’ home in Montecito and her travels to central Mexico over the past two decades. Her art reflects a deep connection to both her past and her creative vision.
