Aldo Luongo
Aldo Luongo, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has always been passionate about art and soccer. After an injury ended his professional soccer career with the New York Generals, he shifted focus entirely to his art. In the 70s, his black-and-white drawings gained international acclaim, selling hundreds of thousands of prints. Over four decades, Luongo has established himself as a leading contemporary artist, recognized as a 3-time Olympic Artist and 1999 Sports Artist of the Year. His bold, impressionistic style, dubbed “Romance on Canvas,” balances memory and hope, capturing the richness of life with both intensity and grace.
